A vacancy for a Transportation industrial architect (M/F) has arisen within Airbus Blagnac.
You will join the team of Industrial Architects wing and oversize transportation.
It's a multi-national team based on several sites of Airbus responsible for the industrialisation of the end to end process for the complete wing for all the Airbus family. Also we are technically responsible for all oversize and Beluga transportation media used between all sites in Airbus and all FAL's.
This role is to join the team focusing on the oversize transportation jigs and tools design, supporting DT and plants in the existing process, also responsible for new design and modification to manage the Aircraft modifications and new products and process requirements. For 2018 the focus on the introduction of the Beluga XL and preparation in the plants for its introduction and also S/A ramp up.
Priority will be given to employees whose position is impacted by a workforce adaptation initiative.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
¤ Specifying new jigs for sea, road and air transport
¤ Working with the operating sites and transport operating responsible teams
¤ Ensuring compliance to the regulatory requirements
From the specification to realisation of the tooling and transportation process:
¤ Leading technically the realisation of all means included in the specification following the business process of FUIN 03-02
¤ Working with all key stakeholders in the plants, procurement, suppliers and key transportation teams.

As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:
¤ Educated to a 4/5years degree level (or equivalent).
¤ Good understanding / knowledge of transport requirements and airworthiness rules
¤ Experience in design related to Jig and tools (background in calculations, stress, tolerances)
¤ Project management experience (certification would be a plus)
¤ Very good communication and interpersonal skills
¤ Stakeholders management
¤ Negotiation and influencing skills
¤ Ability to work in a transnational environment
¤ Ability to work in a challenging environment
¤ English at negotiation level
¤ French would be a plus
