A vacancy for a Telecom Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse.

Join our team, we will provide “on-the-job” training to Frequency Management and you will help us secure the frequencies and orbital slots that our satellite business needs!
This position is hosted in Marketing & Sales and focused on Telecom satellites. The objective, as part of the Satellite Bid and Sales process, is to develop “all-in-one” solutions for Sales teams, Bid and Tenders, New business and Customers to access the orbital positions and associated frequencies needed to operate telecom satellites. This has also become a strategic skill for the Company with orbital slot reaching market price around 10% to 20% of the satellite price.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
You will be involved in the following activities:
Define and agree with the Sales and Bid & Tender teams the relevant strategies and action plans about orbital slots and associated frequencies for the Company and its Customers:
Handle Airbus interests and filings for orbital slots and associated frequencies (including geostationary and non-geostationary satellite infrastructures)
This role will involve some business travels, typically one day to one week, once every two months including abroad and you must be able to travel accordingly.
