Description du poste / stage

An internship in Cabin Customization Process Digitalisation - (M/F) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse (St Martin site).
This 6 months internship will start from January 2018 (date subject to some flexibility).

You will join « HoV Engineering Integration » in charge of the Engineering follow-up of the Cabin Design from the Cabin Definition by the Customer up to the Aircraft delivery. One of the key tools used along this process is the Digital Mock Up (DMU).

Tâches et missions principales, responsabilités

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include :

1.Subject 1: Digitalization of the Cabin Customization process

  • The Intern will contribute to the Digitalisation approach. He will be in charge of investigating the programming of recurring administrative tasks containing Engineering data, and if feasible will have to program them. The programming will exclusively utilize data contained in the Digital Mock-up (DMU) made of Catia models and their corresponding meta data. (approx. 70% of the activity)

2.Subject 2: DMU studies:

  • The intern will support the HEIs in making DMU investigations (approx. 20% of the activity)

3.Subject 3: enriching the HEI community website:

  • The intern will enrich the HEI website with Return of Experiences and any other kind of information that could help the community their daily job (approx. 10% of the activity).

This role could involve some travel for business in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.



Compétences requises

You will have the following skills and experience: .

  • Educated to 4/5 year degree level in Data Processing / IT
  • Knowledge in Programmation interacting with Catia data (reading and generating)
  • Knowledge in VBA coding or any other codes enabling interaction with Catia data/metadata
  • Advanced knowledge in HTML
  • Knowledge in PYTHON is a plus
  • Soft skills : autonomy, initiative, ability to innovate, tenacity, ability to synthesize and force of proposal
  • Language Skills:

French & English : advanced level
German is a plus
