A vacancy for a Space Systems Security Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. You will join Ground Segment Department .
A Ground system security engineer position is opened within Earth Navigation and Science (ENS) business line of Airbus DS in Toulouse.
The activity encompasses proposals, advanced studies, and operational programs.
Your main mission will be to define and implement overall security strategies, procedures and tasks for ENS programs.
You will ensure that security is implemented in an efficient way, combining other stakeholder's aspects. You will interact with Airbus DS representatives for national regulation, Airbus security policy, Cyber expertise and Engineering teams to implement customer requirement, and interact with system design, industrial development and sub-contracting.
The candidate shall have a background in both space systems design and security aspects. Both spacecraft and ground systems are involved.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
The successful candidate will be subjected to a EU/National security clearance to a minimum of SC in order to undertake related work in accordance with the business needs.
This role will involve occasional travel for business and as such the jobholder must be able to travel according to the business needs.
