It is an exciting time to join the Information Management (IM) Team. IM is the Information Technology (IT) business enabler and unique IM Business Partner for Airbus Defence and Space.

As a central function, IM is involved in all business processes and enables technical as well as management careers.

Are you passionate for digital topics and interested in working in a diverse and international environment?

As IM focal point to Quality organization (An end-to-end approach), your role is mainly focus in production and other functions as well as Program Lines.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tâches et missions principales, responsabilités

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
In general:

  • Identifying and proposing as business partner improvements measures align with business requirements.
  • Being close to the business, identifying current weak points in system landscape and way of working, and leading improvements projects in Quality systems and tools.
  • Providing specialist advice where appropriate for the Scoping, Development, Deployment/Implementation, Change Management, Application Maintenance & Evolution of relevant Operations Information Systems.
  • Being aware of technical trends and new technological possibilities (state of the art)
  • Ensuring service quality and end users satisfaction.


  • Analyzing business requirements and translate them into IM solutions.
  • Managing projects (OTOQOC) to implement new functionalities based on the business processes.
  • Ensuring seamless integration of new tools and/or changes in the existing application landscape. Continuously work on further simplification and consolidation of this landscape Management, Application Maintenance & Evolution of relevant Information Systems for Quality organization.
  • Fostering harmonization in IS for Quality in overall Airbus Defence and Space
  • Leading the change management activities after the deployment of any new tool.

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Compétences requises

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Bachelor degree in Information Systems Technology; Master degree preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the required domain: Quality processes & methodology expertise
  • Technical skills required:

  • Good communication and presentation skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving
  • The ability to work to strict timescales as part of an integrated, multidiscipline team
  • English: At least advanced level required.
