A vacancy for a Programme Control Officer (h/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. The successful applicant will join the Imagery Programmes and Production organisation and report to the Head of VHR2020 Programme.
Airbus has initiated the Very High Resolution (VHR) optical continuity programme, so-called “VHR2020”, to ensure the continuity and the growth of its commercial services based on optical geo-information data thanks to 4 new Earth Observation satellites.
This programme, which is categorized as GOLD in Airbus PMP, is managed by the INTELLIGENCE business cluster of Airbus DS CIS (CIS-INT) A team is organized within CIS-INT to drive the VHR2020 programme in close coordination with Space Systems which provide the satellite constellation and CIS Secure Communications which provide the Space Data Highway solutions and services. CIS-INT is recruiting the VHR2020 Programme Control Officer, having certification and experience on Gold level projects, to animate the Project Management Office (PMO) of the programme and to support the VHR2020 programme manager.
You will support the VHR2020 programme manager on a daily basis in the organisation, the consolidation and the animation of the programme:
