Description de la mission

Acts as an interface between the RDTI in the Power Business and the PLM Domain within ISIT supporting the PLM strategy of SEP and the end users in the RDTI teams.

Dimensions;

  • •Support the PLM Project for SEP
  • •Coordinate Business Analyst activities for PLM & ALM Domain (collect, analyse, formalize requirement..)
  • •Manage the £300k+ software support budget for Engineering Applications ensuring requirements are challenged and value for money is achieved through strategic procurement.
  • •No direct reports – liaise and support ~250 Engineers
  • •250 internal customers, 18 suppliers for 40+ applications

Principal accountabilities;

Missions

  • •Analyze and challenge (suitability & priority) the new requirements raised by the Project Requester
  • •Is responsible to properly take into consideration Business Requirements
  • •Support Business leader to write & mature Business Requirements Dossiers
  • •Define Functional requirements & validate proper integration within Solution (FAT)
  • •Support final deployment until business project acceptance
  • •Secure adequate understanding of process within the Project Team and for all project tasks

OPPORTUNITIES ASSESSMENT PHASE

  • •Assess the project request in term of process (Opportunity analysis, Savings & Cost pre-studies, coordinate with Application owner the potential solutions)
  • •Evaluates the relevance and coherence of projects regarding target functional architecture and existing systems
  • •Contributes to the optimisation of business process, data , application and associated systems (opportunities detections)

PROJECT MODE

  • •Support project leader to identify detailed project tasks and associated workload
  • •Support Business leader to write Business Requirement Dossier
  • •Define functional specifications
  • •Define and execute Functional acceptance Tests
  • •Initiate training materials and manage hand-over to Process owner and keys users
  • •In charge to provide adequate understanding of process and functional requirements to the Application Owner to write Technical specifications

RUN MODE

  • •Support the Application Service leader to evaluate the relevance and coherence of tickets regarding target functional architecture and existing systems
  • •Provide CAD technical support
  • •Server and Application Support for Legacy and ancillary (outside Windchill) applications including uptime, planned maintenance and end user support
  • •Create and maintain end user help documentation
  • •Respond to and resolve local tickets relating to PLM and Engineering applications



Votre profil

  • •5+ years' experience in Aerospace industry
  • •Proven experience capturing business requirements and supporting business to mature and formalize IT/IS needs
  • •Proven experience in tests campaigns, especially in tests covering a whole business process
  • •Knowledge of industrial concepts, practices and procedures within the Aerospace industry (especially in Configuration Management)
  • •Analytical and synthetic skills, well organized, process oriented and quick learner
  • •Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to drive trainings on Process & Tools
  • •Strong technical knowledge of CAD, data management and CAD data translation
  • •Strong problem solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and quickly identify root cause
  • •Fluent English; good written and oral communication
  • •Ability to work on an international / multi-cultural environment
  • •Team work, service and results oriented

Assets

  • •Strong understanding of PLM concepts and related software
  • •Understanding of Windchill product to be able to understand and challenge product owner
