Description du poste / stage

A vacancy for a Software Solutions Architect has arisen within Airbus Toulouse. You will bring extensive experience in designing and deploying software solutions to NAVBLUE projects and you will work directly with clients, system integrators, Product Directors and the development teams to identify and elaborate solution requirements, then turn those requirements into a detailed, implementable architecture and work with the Technical Leads to deliver the solution.



Tâches et missions principales, responsabilités

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying the appropriate software architecture based on the requirements and design elements contained in a system specification
  • Working closely with Product Management and/or client to ensure requirements are sufficiently elaborated and clearly understood and aligned with all parties
  • Communicating with and assisting Software Designer/Implementer
  • Complying with all applicable product development processes and standards
  • Performing detailed software design as well as implement and/or maintain code according to duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Ensuring the overall integrity of the solution and validate it against the system specification and requirements
  • Integrating internal and external product design (including SMO UI/UX standards) into a cohesive user experience


Compétences requises

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in Agile Software Development methods
  • Able to effectively communicate, verbally and written, highly technical aspects of architecture and integration to management, clients and staff at all levels
  • Expertise in various technologies, including application development languages and packages, client/server and Web, security, Web servers, browsers, and various third-party utilities and tools for integrating applications with databases and legacy systems
  • Functional experience with Flight Operations solutions is a plus
  • Experience developing under DO-200A/B and other similar industry standards
  • Minimum 5-10 years design experience in a dynamic development environment
  • Excellent C, C++ and C# Programming Skills
  • Experience working directly with customers in service/consulting engagements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and work independently
  • Ability to travel to other offices and/or client sites as required
  • Able to translate business requirements into technology solutions, and new technology solutions into business opportunities
  • English negotiation level
