Airbus Defence and Space is seeking for an experienced System Engineer in MEGA modelling to join a System Engineering team in a large-scale international and multi-cultural project.
As MEGA modelling manager, you are the technical lead across the whole project for all the MEGA modelling aspects of the system design.
You report to the System Engineering Work Package Manager and have as main interfaces the other System Engineers specialized by subsystems, technical managers of system elements and the System IVV team.
This position offers an exciting leadership opportunity for experienced System Engineers to work on large-scale projects that present new and unique challenges and a strong sense of accomplishment.
Develop, document and maintain the MEGA model of the project
Administrate MEGA and produce requested documentation
Manage the support requested from the company´s MEGA support team
Contribute to the change management and non-conformities management processes.
This role may involve some travel for business (Europe, Middle East) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
MA or BA in Computer Science, Aeronautic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or in Information Systems
5 to 10+ years of successful experience as System Engineer including experience at least one large-scale project (system of systems)
5+ years of successful as MEGA modeller for Security or Defence purpose (preferably)
The role requires liaison with a number of sub-teams and stakeholders, so good verbal and written communication skills are needed as well as the ability to work in multinational and multicultural environments
Firm understanding of MEGA model based system engineering practices and methods
Proven synthesis mind set and capability to make decisions with uncertainty
Strong leadership capabilities
Ability to work under demanding deadlines
Team player and cooperative
