DESCRIPTION

The “Lead Data Engineer” is in charge of developing Data Pipelines for any products delivered by Stellantis Data Factory
He / she manages a team composed of Data Experts (Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Full Stack Developers, …)
He / she is a very technical and operational profile - while having a deep interest and understanding of business issues
He works in a very diverse, international and challenging environment, on automotive use cases such as connected car data, automotive vehicle, smart manufacturing, customer scoring, supply chain optimization, demand forecast, …

MISSIONS
Management and team development : leading the team to the highest level of expertise
Prioritization and delivery
Ensures industrialization process for rollout into production
Close relationship with the Data Science and Feature Teams
Tech lead for data engineering activities, including 3rd party centers of expertise

SKILLS

Broad technical and scientific knowledge required. Expert status on data engineering skills

Management
Hierarchical management of a team of experts (5 - 10)

IT/Software
Architecture, Data Engineering, DevOps, MLOps
Computer programming skills (Python, Scala ...)
Hadoop environment: (HDFS, HIVE, Spark, ...),
Database management (SQL, NoSQL, etc.)
Data Science: Machine learning algorithms and their configuration
Additional skills: Snowflake, Palantir, Databricks
