Votre rôle et vos missions

PRESENTATION OF THE CONTEXT AND TEAM

 

Under Group IT, the Group CIO office
department ensures the execution of the AXA global IT strategy. That includes
driving the IT governance and global product governance, monitoring the IT
performance, providing expertise leadership on strategic IT studies and
analyzing audit, risk and compliance for AXA Group IT.



 


POSITION MAIN ACTIVITIES



 

The IT Governance
and Performance Manager within Group CIO Office has 3 main focus areas. These
focus areas are operational extension of the Group CIO and can be shared by
several team members, while assuring that all topics are covered.



 

Key
responsibilities to be covered for this position are:



 

IT Performance

  • Control & Report financial and
    non-financial KPIs against IT objectives defined with AXA governance
  • In collaboration with AXA GO Finance,
    benchmark and analyze performance of AXA IT organization (Group IT and
    entities), challenging existing processes and promoting best practices in aim
    for optimal overall improvement
  • Participate in initiatives aiming at gathering
    information needed for strategic analysis, such as investment plans
  • Monitor Group IT Budgets communicated by AXA GO
    Finance, with specific focus on efficiency plans and ensuring all figures are
    consistent
  • Produce IT Efficiency Benchmark (ITEB) including
    Group IT and AXA entities: Globally structured, comprehensive and reliable view
    of the IT budget, it is the support for all IT benchmark and analyses required
    to better understand the budget, support business cases, support initiatives to
    improve performance, etc.
  • In collaboration with AXA GO Finance, IT
    Services organization and entities, facilitate performance benchmark and
    analysis of AXA Group IT Product Portfolio
  • Manage Group CIO Office budget with the key
    objective to have actuals fully aligned with budget
  • All above activities are performed in close
    collaboration with AXA GO Finance
















 

Coordination of Group IT deliverables towards
Operating Companies and other Group departments



  • In support to AXA Group CIO and Business
    Partners, participate in coordination and follow-up of strategic dialogues with
    entity CIO/CEOs, in particular for investments related items
  • Contribute to preparation and analysis of IT
    topics required by AXA COO and/or on the Management Committee agenda
  • Coordinate Group IT input for requests coming
    from central Group functions (risk, internal control, communications, Group
    Corporate Development…)
  • Liaise with other Group IT functions (IT
    Services, product portfolio governance, audit coordination…) and Group
    Operations departments (Finance, Security..) on the overlapping topics to create
    tangible value for the business








 

In addition, participation
will be required in the governance related activities with other AXA GO
departments, AXA entities and Group.



 

All major documents or deliverables are aimed to
be shared, as appropriate, with Group CIO, entity CIOs (IT Forum), Group COO
and potentially included in presentations to the Management Committee.

Votre profil

PROFILE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES




 Experience

  • 7+ years experience
  • Track record in IT management, complex projects or portfolio management
    in cross functional environment, with accent on governance and transformation
  • Experience in
    interaction with senior management levels of the company, understanding
    business drivers and influencing transversally in matrix environments
  • Good
    knowledge of IT industry, knowledge of insurance business and tenure at AXA a
    plus
  • Knowledge of AXA internal governance across entities
  • Proven high level of maturity in people management and interaction
  • High sensitivity to cultural aspects and ease in transnational
    environments
  • 5+ years experience in managing budgets, financial analysis and
    controlling: mandatory


















 

Competencies

  • Strong capacity to understand customer and market demands & trends
  • Project management / capacity to drive organizational and operational
    governance
  • Financials (business case, budget, savings, etc.) : mandatory
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including synthetic
    presentations
  • Rigour, efficiency and strong organisational skills
  • Strong ability to work across different cultures














Languages: full fluency in English required, French
optional
