Descriptif de l'entité et de l'activité

Main corporate functions (Marketing, Finance, HR, Shareholders’ department, Communication) are localized at the Head Office. The Shareholders’ department is in charge of the relationships with the Group’410,000 individual shareholders, providing information regarding the life of the share, the business conducted by the company and manage the accounts of our 93,000 pure registered shareholders.

Thanks to regular Employees share purchase plan, 27,000 employees are also shareholders. Owing their shares under the direct registered form, their accounts are being managed by the Shareholders’ Departement.

Missions & Responsabilités

1.Data analyses

Embedded within the Employee Shareholding Team, you will help identify the similarities existing over two different databases in order to identify and regroup the multiple accounts owned by a single employee in order to merge them into a unique account:
a.Defining an automated method to identify accounts presenting strong similarities
b.Proceed to a case by case manual analysis if required
At the end of the project, each employee should have only one account linked to her/his unique HR identification number.

2.Project & Ressource management

All through the internship, you will communicate with the Shareholders department correspondents within Air Liquide’s subsidiaries all over the world and collect up-to-date data regarding employees owing shares (internal mobility, resignation, change in personal data…) in order to update the shareholders’ database with the employees’ correct data.
Working in collaboration with a data-entry specialist, you will supervise his/her daily tasks, schedule (in coordination with the Project Manager) the workload for the duration of the project, and organize its reporting toward the project manager.

3.Process description

Finally, you will define and describe the “monthly update” process for employees’ situation in order to update the employees’ details within the shareholders’ database.

Profil et compétences

Graduated from a Business School / Engineering school / University, you are at ease with Excel (Formula and columns manipulation, VB not required) and have a “problem-solving” oriented mind, with a keen interest for project management. You are also known for correctly and quickly completing the tasks you are given, taking initiative when and if needed.

Finally, you are not afraid to write and speak both in French and in English, with various HR all over the world.
