France Signalling, with more than 800 employees, is an Excellence Center of Signalling technology - Our mission is to supply to the railroad operators of the complete systems of signalling, allowing them to operate their lines with the best performances in complete safety. Our site concentrates on the French market and the segment Subway worldwide with innovative systems: the R&D, the development and the deployment project are at the heart of our activities.

You will be in IXL Design department, part of Project engineering. You will work mainly on French Mainline projects to deploy our PAI (Poste d'Aiguillage Informatisé) solutions

JOB TITLE: Interlocking (IXL) Data Parameter Engineer (M/F)

Based at: Saint-Ouen (93)


Ensures signaling parameter activities for a specific mainline project.

    Parameter activities aims to:

 -  Define the data in coherence with technical specifications

 -  Generate the files needed for validation and installation activities


Direct reporting to the Site IXL Application Design management.


  • Realize the Data parameter activities :

           - with respect of SNCF process

           - in compliance with “SNCF Plans Techniques”

           - by using the different informatics tools

  • Check the Data parameters and ensures the compliance with the specifications
  • Establish the delivery reports
  • Deliver to Data Validation Engineer the files needed for tests on platform and on simulation environment
  • Keeps a strong link with the Signaling Charts Definition Engineer, the Signaling Principles Definition Engineer, the Data Preparation Engineer, the Data Validation Engineer and the WPO Application Engineering
  • Manages his/her work products under configuration management
  • Cross-verifies validation procedures and criteria produced by his peers on other projects
  • Applies and ensures application of processes and standards
  • Contributes to continuous improvement (ROE, process, tools, …)


  • Engineering or Master Degree
  • Industrial experience in signalling company or in an industrial context with high level of safety and reliability constraints
  • Analytical thinking ability
  • Posistive attitude. Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to liaise with Design, Safety and Verification & Validation teams
  • Rigorous and process oriented
  • Focused on results
  • Knowledge of railway industry and signalling (if possible in interlocking systems)
  • Resilient
