Description de l'offre

Job purpose:

The Head of Digital, Sales and Marketing Solutions is leading a team of senior IT project managers in charge of the design, delivery and maintenance of IT solutions for the Group (when global solutions make sense) as well as three affiliates: MMPJ, HCI and Pernod Ricard HQ.It is part of a broader “solutions team”, which includes two other delivery teams (back-office solutions and business intelligence solutions) as well as two transversal teams (innovation & architecture, and business relationships management).The job consists both in leading the delivery teams under his/her responsibility, as well as being a key interlocutor for a large number of stakeholders: business departments at HQ/MMPJ/HCI, affiliates, within the global IT community, IT top management, etc.The scope covers:
  • Employees solutions –  such as MyPortal, MyBrands, BrandCloud, Chatter, SalesWise, integrated business planning (IBP), etc.
  • Consumer solutions – such as marketing automation / SFMC, consumer database, consumer data capture, social media management, DMP & Media, etc.
  • Customer solutions – such as RADAR, Le Cercle, PIM/WeCommerce, partner’s extranet (MMPJ’s Extranet Vignerons), etc.
  • E-Commerce solutions – such as Drinks&Co (Magento Platform), RSRV (MMPJ), Octopus Enterprise Service Bus, etc.
  • Web solutions – such as the global brand websites for MMPJ, HCI and Pernod-Ricard; global modules such as click-to-buy / where-to-buy, google analytics, age gates, Amazon/Pantheon, etc.
Most of the platforms have been put in place over the past 2-4 years. Consequently, the Head of Digital, Sales and Marketing solutions will not only have to build and maintain the solutions, but also to grow the maturity in terms of IT management (support, KPIs, SLA, etc.).Overall, the ability to drive adoption of the solutions developed will be determinant to the success in this position. Thus, a strong ability to build and communicate a vision is needed, as well as a permanent attention and reactivity to feedback.Main roles and responsibilities:


  • Setting the strategic IT direction for the Digital, Sales and Marketing areas
  • Provides Vision, problem anticipation and problem solving ability
  • Actively contribute to the digital strategy in conjunction with Global Business Development teams
  • Be the key point of contact for local/regional IT teams and regarding Digital Transformation
  • Ensure appropriate level of communication within the Digital, Sales and Marketing area

Portfolio Management:

  • Build and agree upon roadmaps regarding Sales, Marketing and Digital initiatives– overall and for each area under his/her responsibility (consumers, customers, employees, web, e-commerce)
  • Ensure high level of professionalism in budget management, in close coordination with project managers, governance and management
  • Collaborate with other technology teams to connect Digital, Sales and Marketing solutions with the broader IT ecosystem (both globally with brands/markets/regions – and more specifically for MMPJ, HCI and HQ)
  • Ensure appropriate reporting to IT top management: Problems evolution, Projects status report, Highlights and issues

IT Management and architecture

  • Ensure that Sales and Marketing applications fits into systems architecture for an organization on an enterprise level
  • Define the right level of support for the different applications maintained; define the appropriate SLAs to reflect performance and usage of the solutions
  • Work closely with the other IT teams to grow maturity of solutions management, in particular:
    • embed IT security in any project, together with IT security teams
    • ensure proper transfer of RUN activities to “IT Operations” teams, when the       maturity of the solution is sufficient to proceed
    • define and implement the right processes on support, service management, etc.       together with IT governance team
  • Interact with other affiliates, particularly counterparts in brands / markets /regions heading the Digital, Sales and Marketing solutions teams

IT leadership and empowerment

  • Coordinate effort across IT Sales and Marketing to support company’s business strategy
  • Receives feedback from business users, make recommendations and monitor SLAs
  • Drive convergence across the Group when and where it makes sense, in close coordination with counterparts in regions, markets and brand companies
  • Interact with other IT Solutions teams on projects and information exchange

Team management and leadership

  • Responsible for staff management
  • Managing consultants and internal resources in a project or program setting
  • Manage roadmaps, projects delivery and overall activity of his/her team members:
  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors progress for all applications under this domain
  • Ensures projects are completed on time, on budget and according to corporate quality standards
  • Manage applications lifecycle
  • Manage and evaluate vendors in order to ensure continuous improvement

Profile required:

Education required: Master Degree in Computer Sciences or Business

Qualifications / Profile:

  • Requires 7-10 years of previous experience in project management
  • Requires Sales/Marketing business experience, ideally in the Consumer Goods industry
  • Must have management experience (projects, processes and people)
  • Must have experience dealing with various levels within company: end users, high profile executives, and outside vendors and supplier contracts
  • Must possess solid knowledge of existing tools available on the market

Language required: Fluent in English, French is a plus
