The INTELLIGENCE business cluster of Airbus DS CIS (CIS-INT) has triggered the “Ground Earth Observation Digital System“ program (GDS) to renew of its existing geo-information production & exploitation solutions in order to improve its operational efficiency and the quality of the delivered services.
A first phase of the GDS program is scheduled to run over the 2017-2019 period to design, develop and implement the new architecture of CIS-INT service facilities, first for the optical satellites currently operated in orbit, e.g SPOT and Pléiades HR, and later for the next generation of EO satellites, Pléiades Neo which is expected in 2020.
