A vacancy for a “Engineer in Frequency Management (m/f)” has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in France (Toulouse, another location may be discussed).
The position is hosted in Engineering to support the growth of Airbus Defence & Space’s Communication, Intelligence & Security (CIS) Program Line. Our objective is to de-risk and accompany their programs, system design, business development, innovation, strategy, marketing and new products for all question related to frequency management. And this has become strategic for Airbus DS since competing industries are paying billions of euros to secure the frequencies the need.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
You will be involved in the following activities.
Defining and agreeing with the main stakeholders of a Program Line the relevant strategies and action plans about Frequency Management:
Developing and implementing technical/regulatory lobbying campaigns to promote the interest of the Program Line, in particular throughout the international negotiations of the International Telecommunications Union (“ITU-R”) of the United Nations:
This role will involve frequent travel for business (in Europe and abroad, eg 30 to 90 days a year with 1 to 10 days duration,) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
