A vacancy for an Electrical Network Engineer specialised in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse. The successful applicant will join EYNE.
Natural trend is to go towards more electrical aircraft, making the Electrical System (ATA24) more and more important. Power Electronics and Electrical Distribution are therefore ones of the 17 Airbus Competencies Priorities for 2018 and for the coming years.
The Electrical System R&T team has the responsibility to prepare the electrification of the Aircraft, from incremental solutions targeted on existing programs, by developing the “More Electrical Aircraft” where the only energy on-board will be the electricity, and then working on Electrical propulsion for the “After Next Aircraft”.
You will have the opportunity to develop the new Electrical Network standard for Aircraft by being in charge of the HVDC Stream.

You will work in a multidisciplinary and international environment, and will have to manage interfaces with very diverse entities (Airbus laboratories, universities,...).
Regular Travel in France and Germany are foreseen.
