The Airbus’ Information Management (IM) division is looking for a UX/UI Specialist Designer (m/f) to join the Big Data department in Toulouse, France.
With the Digital Transformation of Airbus, the information technology of the company is completely redesigned, looking for creating added value for the business. As an UX/UI Specialist Designer, you will:
ø Be responsible for storyboarding, high-level use case definition, mock-ups, wireframes, functional prototypes, journey maps, task flows, design specifications and user research techniques,
ø Perform interviews, contextual inquiries, heuristic evaluations, usability testing, behavioural specifications and producing user personas,
ø Work on our Desktop, Mobile and Web products enhancing the experience of our internal and external customers,
ø Be a key contributor to design the cutting edge user experience for both internal and external customers,
ø Create and iterate clean, intuitive, responsive and reusable layouts and assets that allow for seamless navigation and enable easy information analysis,
ø Produce top-notch work that injects beauty into the product and delight into the user experience,
ø Be obsessed with getting the product's UI pixel-perfect and produce high-quality visual designs from concept to execution,
ø Influence our understanding of Desktop, Web and Mobile environments, their unique differentiators and quirks,
ø Work closely with developers on a daily basis to aid implementation of the designed interface and to ensure its quality. Your keen eye for details will be what our Dev teams will depend on,
ø Take ownership of the work and responsibility for its evolution.

Your Boarding Pass
ø Master Degree in User eXperience & User Interface design (Arts Applied background appreciated),
ø Proven track record and experience in UI/UX Design,
ø 3+ years of experience:
ø Plentiful experience with the good old-fashioned pencil and paper,
ø Understanding of how technical decisions and data-driven decisions can impact the business,
ø Adept at working with engineering teams to translate customer needs into viable solutions,
ø Comfortable with feature and requirements definitions, customer interviews and surveys, need analysis, and competitive analysis. You are particularly adept at synthesizing these inputs into requirements definition,
ø Comfort preparing and leading creative workshops (onboarding end-users in co-creation workshops),
ø Advanced level of English, French would be appreciated.
ø Analytical and critical mind, being able to think deeply,
ø Agile, Lean and/or Design Thinking knowledge and a very curious mind,
ø Autonomous with excellent communication skills, displaying an ability to take initiative with a pragmatic mindset,
ø Strong work ethic and a team player attitude, keen to be developed and develop others,
