Customer Solution Architect (m/f)

Position based in Saint Ouen (France)
Technical Architects are responsible for designing the technical architecture in a specific IS area and
developing it in the medium and long term based on the application architecture defined by the Application Architect
in response to business needs. They find the best compromise between:
− the resources of the existing infrastructure;
− harmonisation with the reference framework in which the IS is integrated;
− IS performance (e.g. scalability, maintainability, operability, reusability, cost).
They ensure that all IT resources are consistent (hardware, applications, databases,
networks, middleware, operating systems) and develop them by making the most of the state of the art.
They make every effort to meet the required level of service and security.
− Designing the technical architecture for information systems
− Verifying and analysing the technical impact of new solutions, consistency and the
− Measuring the economic and financial effects of their solutions
− Being involved in impact studies on existing or planned architecture for all new projects alongside the Application Architect
and recommending technical choices
with a view to ensuring the consistency and performance of this development
− Applying ENGIE IT's project management methodology
− Helping to define technical standards
− Advising the functional area's Information System Architect on how to use the
IT and telecommunications tools
− Offering customers improvements to solutions
− Working in a team with the Application Architect
− Promoting the technical architecture to the development and operational IT teams
Professional experience: 5 years (including 3 years in architecture)
You have a sound grasp of SAP, databases, networks, network systems, storage and operating systems.
You are also proficient in cloud solutions and familiar with the Azure and AWS services.
Knowledge of software, infrastructure tools and project management is a plus.
Knowledge of the ArchiMate or Togaf methodology would be an asset for this role.
You are fluent in French and English.
You have good interpersonal and negotiation skills and are customer-focused. You have good speaking and writing skills and team spirit.
