As an Engineer in the Apple Pay team, you will conduct security assessments on a variety of complex products and services. You will perform penetration testing in functional environments, review the robustness of software implementations and assess the security level of products & services. Where you find security issues, we'll look for your advice on efficient mitigations. Your deep understanding in the areas of threat modeling, embedded software security, source code and design reviews will be necessary for success in this role. You'll also need to demonstrate experience of software implementation, software vulnerability, consumer expectations and behaviours in this space. Experience in reverse-engineering, hardware security and knowledge of payment systems would be very useful. Based in Paris, we are passionate about security, and work closely with cryptographers and developers across Apple, worldwide. You will spend your time interrogating a variety of complex, high frequency SoC products. To drive improvement in side channel test benches, you will analyse devices up to the full realisation of attacks. We also build evaluations on software as well as hardware, from the basic cryptographic blocks to the high level applications. Our work relies on your ability to quickly familiarize yourself with code you’ve never seen before. By understanding the pertinent functionality, we use state of the art equipment to probe test features, from the preliminary design specifications to the end products. You will be self directed, analytical, and work well in a team environment. Comfortable working at math level on cryptographic primitives you will work on a range of products including embedded technologies. Based in Paris, we are passionate about security and work closely with cryptographers and developers across Apple. Apple is seeking a Country Manager to support Apple in managing, and growing the App Store, Apple Music, iTunes & iBooks business in France. This role requires a high degree of executive credibility, as you will help to shape major decisions within an extremely fast paced business. You will be responsible for managing internal stakeholders as well as Apple partners and carry them towards a compelling vision. The ideal candidate will be able to break down the vision into a concrete strategy, taking local nuances into consideration, with clear objectives for each of the team members. Tracking and communicating progress, course correcting actions or mentoring team members when appropriate are other key requirements. This role requires a mix of strategic and functional skills, as well as people management, with a high commitment to delivery and deadlines. The individual in this role should be a professional with strong interpersonal skills. You will be a seasoned senior manager with a proven leadership record and demonstrable the ability to influence across different stakeholders. They will also have a strong understanding of, and empathy with, the Apple brand and products. This individual will need to have been exposed to multiple digital businesses and be comfortable building and executing tailor made strategies across each of these teams. The ideal candidate will be International in calibre and possess both understanding and passion for local nuances and French culture.
University degree preferable. MBA or Post-Graduate is a plus. Deep understanding and relevant Senior Management experience in the digital content space. Have a connection to the arts, tech, & media landscape in France; and experience working closely with artists and developers. A proven successful team and project management track record within a global, multi layered organization combined with experience of bringing new products to market.
