Reporting to and partnering with the CTO, the Chief Information Security Officer will work closely with Criteo's business leaders to understand business drivers, market requirements, and competitive issues facing the organization and translate those into a comprehensive security technology strategy for both new and legacy products.
S/he will drive the technology roadmap and delivery of innovative products and solutions while protecting and enhancing the current platform and product portfolio. This person will enhance the security focused talent and capabilities of the technology team to grow strong people and technology leaders, support diversity, equity and inclusion and to develop skills in key capabilities needed for a leading digital business.
Propose and operationalize the corporate security policy, including prevention, protection, defense, resilience and remediation.
Advise, assist, train and alert heads of business departments and Executive Leadership.
Recommend, and even take decisions on changes to the Information Systems in case of potential or ascertained cybersecurity attacks.
Technical Infrastructure & Incident Management:
Suggest and ensure adoption of appropriate methods for the protection of Internet services, networks, IT equipment, mobile devices and other communication channels including password policy, encryption methods, etc.
Ensure sufficient monitoring of activity logs in order to recognize suspicious behavior.
Collect information and coordinate response to security incidents including follow ups to prevent recurrence and if necessary, prepare evidence for legal action following an incident.
Risk management & Compliance:
Coordinate the process of security risk identification and management across all Criteo departments;
Propose the selection and implementation of security safeguards and ensure that all corrective actions are performed to eliminate the cause of non-conformities;
Maintain contact with external authorities and special interest groups and coordinate all efforts related to regulatory frameworks such as GDPR .
Advocacy & Training:
Prepare the training and awareness plan for information security for new and existing employees ;
Perform continuous activities related to awareness raising'
Propose the draft of main information security documents for the entire organization ensuring continuous reviewing and updating of these documents.
Identify circumstances where external security related parties can provide additional services to compliment internal activities;
Perform risk assessment for activities to be outsourced;
Perform background check for candidates for outsourcing partners and define security clauses that must be part of an agreement.
- Extensive experience of working in and managing corporate security teams
- Strong technical security knowledge – ability to explain and demonstrate threats and exploits
- Experience building and executing corporate security strategy
- Knowledgeable of emerging technologies and how they can be applied to meet the company’s key objectives
- Demonstrated ability to implement a comprehensive approach to cybersecurity and risk management
- Experience implementing and managing an effective IT governance framework
- Outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A strong understanding of operational and capital finances, and IT budget development
- Experience guiding IT product/portfolio lifecycles from introduction through end
- Builder of strong vendor partnerships and able to manage multiple vendor relationships to ensure the best performance and financial return
- Understands ITIL and other service management frameworks, and how to implement them at scale
- Fluent English
