Description du poste / stage

A vacancy for a PLM manager in the ST-Éloi Central Manufacturing Engineering has arisen within Airbus Toulouse.
The successful applicant will join the St-Éloi Plant.
The St-Éloi plant is based in the centre of Toulouse and produces pylons for all Airbus programs. The plant is specialized in developing, manufacturing, assembling, equipping and testing pylons. It also develops and produces titanium parts for the nacelles.

You will join the Plant Production System Efficiency organization which is responsible for deploying, maintaining and supporting reliable, efficient & integrated production solutions to Operations, in order to enable an industrial excellence and contribute to the Company’s profitability & competitiveness. It includes Process, Methods & Tools for the Manufacturing Engineering community, Line Balancing and shop floor performances improvement, as well as leading the plant digitalization.

You will deploy the new Dassault solution called 3DExperience from a Process, Method and Tools point of view, ensure its first application to the Nacelle Innovative Solution (NIS) project within a challenging environment, and ensure the support of this solution. There is also a need to develop and support a new Manufacturing Engineering proficiency called Industrial System Engineer, as well as to support every existing and future tool.



Tâches et missions principales, responsabilités

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) project deployment (including 3DExperience) for the St-Éloi plant
  • Managing internal partners supporting this activity through the Verification & Validation process and providing need and workload analysis
  • Providing Level 2 support for all PLM activities within the Manufacturing Engineering community
  • Proposing to the industrial architects the best line design with associated performance
  • Ensuring Global Lean Line Design knowledge among the industrial teams
  • Providing industrial system expertise through Process, Methods and Tools
  • Providing innovative and performing solutions to the units through the Central Manufacturing Engineering team
  • Understanding and sharing the St-Éloi’s needs with the Manufacturing Engineering expert.


Compétences requises

As the successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:

  • Educated to a 4/5 years’ degree level (or equivalent).
  • Experience in 3D tool including DMU, PLM, Configuration Management, work instructions and industrial system modelling
  • Experience in project management
  • Very good communication and relationship skills
  • Teaching skills
  • Stakeholders management
  • Customer focused

Ability to work in a challenging environment

  • English: advanced level
  • French: negotiation level
