FRS - Danone Place Paris  is looking for DAN'IS Process leader [EPM & Analytics] [Products & Touchpoint] - D2I in France (FR) 


The Information System organization of the Groupe DANONE (DanIS) recruits his BI & Analytics products leader for the Data Solutions organization, Data 2 Insights. 

Data to Insights (D2I) has the mission to deliver-leading edge, business-focused data powered solutions & services that will help strengthen Danone transformation & growth. 

This position is based in Saint Ouen, France, and reports to the D2I director. 

You will be leading the BI & Analytics products team, in charge of  

Animating a large business network,  from various domains ( Sales, Finance, Operations, HR, …) , levels ( Corporate, Regions ) & geographies to identify their needs in terms of analytics or planning products ( expectations, high level functionalities, ergonomics, governance )  and translate them into tangible projects (use cases, detailed functional design ,  process & organization… )  

Mobilizing your teams to implement ,industrialize and deploy agreed product through best in class project methodology  in mutual collaboration with business  and coordination with other teams within D2I  

Managing product lifecycle and evolution over time ( incident and evolutions management , end user trainings) . 

Ensuring buy-in from businesses from existing products & align on their evolution 

Empowering end users to develop self service awareness ( training, support ) 

Developping new methodologies with business through  fast design & prototype 

The products delivered to our businesses are covering Enterpise Performance Management (EPM) scope ( Planning & Simulate, using Tagetik and Essbase technologies) as well as  Analytics (Analyze & Visualize using MicroStrategy mainly). You will work in a dynamic and complex environment: international, multi-cultural and matrix organizations, various level of stakeholders management and communication, complex and various technology, platforms & products landscape. 

1. As strategic Visionary 

a. You work with multiple stakeholders ( D2I peers, DanIS peers, Danone shared services & Danone businesses ) to deliver with a key focus long term vision for the company’s planning, simulation and analytics strategic products. 

b. You build a strategy for longer term concepts, such as predictive analytics and keep informed on trends and research in the industry to gain competitive advantage and remain progressive along time. 

2. Operationally speaking,  

a. You develop with your teams new ways of working for upcoming challenges linked to product management such as fast prototyping, design thinking 

b. You continuously market and promote the Analytics & EPM products to raise awareness throughout business & DanIS domains of what products, solutions and capabilities are available to them and how to best use them in their respective roles/responsibilities through innovative ways of cooperation.  

c. You ensure the implementation of strategic projects & programs  with respect of agreed timeline & budget, ensuring proper scoping, functional definition & cooperating on other phases of delivery with peers 

d. You drive your team to animate effectively a network of key users to manage evolution of products along time with a deep sensibility to service level and sustainable results  

e. You cooperate with the D2I leadership team to ensure stakeholders global satisfaction through optimal service level. 

3. As a leader 

a. Leadership and coaching skills 

b. Management of three distinct teams of around 30 people in total 

c. Able to drive a qualitative partnership with our providers & vendors 

d. Build meaningful network of influence to onboard & challenge your peers 

e. Strong stakeholder management skills that include the ability to effectively consult, negotiate, resolve conflict and influence change through appropriate attitude & communication.  

f. Ability to lead in unclear situation (crisis management, ...)  

g. Ability to work in a matrix evolutive organization 


a. At least 10 years in Analytics & EPM domain with very good knowledge of at least one functional domain ( Sales, Operations, HR, Finance, Purchasing ) 

b. Very good knowledge of Anaytics tools ( MicroStrategy preferred ) & EPM (Tagetik preffered, notions of Essbase , Hyperion Planning ) & other market used technologies 

c. Proficiency in English
