Description du poste / stage

Within the Structures Engineering Department, you will ensure, with timely answers, a continuous assistance to our customers for structural queries.



Tâches et missions principales, responsabilités

Your main tasks are the following ones:

  • Evaluate damages on in-service aircrafts from customers queries,
  • Describe all the actions needed to repair aircraft in a Structural Repair Instruction (SRI),
  • Propose and discuss repair principles with stress and drawing offices,
  • Follow the repair on the aircraft and provide with information needed until the release into service,
  • Perform on-site damage assessment and define repair principles,
  • Assist airlines or third parties for repair work implementation,
  • Initiate investigations and collect data to define issues root cause,
  • Identify repetitive issues and propose solutions in order to improve aircraft structures and to obtain better reliability and lower maintenance costs,
  • Participate to the improvement and the scope enlargement of available manuals (SRM, AMM, …).


Compétences requises

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) or equivalent in aeronautical structures or mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Around 3 years of experience in aeronautical structural repairs.
  • Good knowledge in aircraft structures (and if possible ATR structures), aircraft structural repair principles, metallic and composite materials, non-destructive testing methods.
  • MS office.
  • Good team spirit to work with the fleet support team, others ATR departments and partners.
  • Customer oriented : ability to communicate with customers and willingness to satisfy them.
  • Open minded.
  • Good knowledge of English and technical English (B2/C1).

Possibility to work durduring week-end/public holidays, ensure standby period and do missions in foreign countries.
