The Chief Technology Officer of Airbus is currently looking for a Demonstrator Lead - Telecommunications Technology to be based in Toulouse, France.
Our ambition is multi-modal connectivity for connected fleets through networking between aircraft, satellite and terrestrial connections. This will enable new business models, improved aircraft operation and enhanced passenger flying experiences.
The Connectivity Demonstrator program will showcase communications technologies needed by the changes we expect in the aviation landscape. These communication technologies will enable our aircraft to join the connected world and enable new capabilities such as Urban Air Mobility and Coordinated Operation.
In this context, you will act as the Ultra Reliable Connectivity Demonstrator Lead (URCDL).
The objective of this activity is to develop a novel, flexible embarked communication systems with degrees of reliability allowing its application to vital aircraft functions.
This demonstrator will push the rapid development and integration of leading-edge aerospace communication technologies.
This position reporting to our R&T subsidiary Airbus Exo Alpha SAS is to be based in Toulouse, France for a Project Based Fixed-Term Contract that will last for the duration of the Connectivity programme (2/3 years).
